Adejoke Tugbiyele

Born in New York to Nigerian immigrants, and raised for seven years in Lagos, Nigeria, award-winning artist/activist Adejoke Tugbiyele has participated in several international art fairs including 1:54 Contemporary African Art, London; Art Dubai; Joburg Art Fair in both 2013 and 2015; Art 15: London’s Global Art Fair: and LOOP Video Art Festival, Barcelona, Spain.

Her work is in the permanent collection of the Brooklyn Museum, the Newark Museum, and significant private collections in the United States and Hong Kong.
