Ladan Osman

Ladan Osman’s work has appeared in American Life in Poetry, Artful Dodge, Narrative Magazine, Prairie Schooner, RHINO, and Vinyl Poetry. She is the author of the chapbook “Ordinary Heaven,” which appeared in the inaugural box set, Seven New Generation African Poets. Her full-length debut, The Kitchen-Dweller’s Testimony (UNP, 2015), won the Sillerman First Book Prize for African Poetry. Her second collection, Exiles of Eden, came out from Coffee House Press in 2019.
