Lorna Dawes
Lorna Dawes serves as the primary consultant for the African Poetry Libraries, a project administered by the African Poetry Book Fund at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is the project lead on the African Poetry Digital Portal and the lead designer of the traveling APBF symposium exhibit. She is an Associate Professor and the Learning Communities Librarian at University of Nebraska Libraries, where she works as the subject liaison librarian for the Department of Teacher Learning and Teacher Education. She also works closely with UNL Programs for English as a Second Language. Her research focuses on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, Human Information Behavior, and the information experiences of first-year students.
